Diving Committee

The diving committee meets five times a year, and has responsibility for the organisation of competitions for diving, and for the development of the discipline in the county. The meetings take place at Welwyn Civic Centre, Welwyn, on a weeknight at 8pm. There are currently two vacancies on this committee.

The Chairman of the Management Board,  the Finance  Officer and the Association Secretary of Hertfordshire ASA are ex officio members of the committee.

Club Development Group

The Club Development Group meets five times a year and focuses on six primary objectives:

• Making information about courses and seminars available to clubs, teachers, coaches, and club members involved in the administration of clubs
• Ensuring the provision of courses required by clubs and the clubs’ volunteers, so that there is on-going development within the clubs
• Delivering county forums to clubs, coaches and officials
• Reviewing the outputs from all county forums, and taking appropriate actions, or recommending action to be taken by other people or committees
• Managing funding opportunities provided by Hertfordshire ASA
• Assisting with the provision of the county conference

The meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Welwyn, on a weeknight at 7.30pm

There is currently a vacancy for the manager.

Water Polo Committee

The water polo committee has meetings three or four times a year at convenient venues. The committee has responsibility for the organisation of competitions for water polo athletes, and the development of the discipline within the county.

There are currently two vacancies on this committee. Please contact the Association Secretary, Sheila Mackenzie, if you have an independent interest in furthering the discipline of water polo within the county, and you would be interested in joining the committee.

Disability Committee

The disability committee meets three or four times a year.  The meetings take place at Welwyn Civic Centre, Welwyn, on a weeknight at 8pm. The committee has responsibility for the organisation of competitions for disability athletes, and the development of the discipline within the county.

Swimming Committee

The swimming committee meets eight times a year. The meetings are held on weeknights at Welwyn Parish Centre, Welwyn, at 8pm. There are also events sub-group meetings to prepare for specific events. The committee is responsible for the organisation of competitive swimming competitions, and the development of the discipline within the county.

There is currently no county committee, but the county works within the ASA East Region committee.
